ABOUT

Hello and welcome! 

     I am an Art Educator / Artist. I have fallen in love with every art process I could get my hands on since I was a baby and I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up by 2nd grade. I was born in Alabama, grew up in California, and then moved to Texas. My passions include painting, teaching, sewing, reading, and drinking far to much tea. My secret dream is to one day own an extremely old galapagos turtle. After finishing up my BFA in Visual Arts Studies at the University of North Texas and receiving my Texas Teaching Certificate, I promptly chose to embark on a grand adventure to Alexandria, Virginia to be an Elementary Art Teacher.
